I've never been overly fond of the song "Amazing Grace" simply because it's been overdone. However THIS has to be one of the most staggering renditions I've ever, ever heard. Let it absorb you. If you don't end up with goosebumps and a renewed, soaring sensation of God's love, you're not human.

I've decided our motto is First Thessalonians 4:11-12: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody." Ain't it great?

I'm making progress on my manuscript ("Rural Revolution: An In-Your-Face Manifesto from Flyover Country"). It's going slower than I thought only because I seem to be constantly busy (a weekly column takes more time than you think!). Still, I'm pleased with what I have so far.
